Easy to use and good to practice with other players

But there are soo many bugs that should be fixed and features that should added to make a funner experience.

It can take a while to find a player (up to 10 minutes sometimes), few bugs every now and then but its not a fun breaking experience. After you checkmate someone you have to wait for them to quit the game or wait the 3 minute turn timeout. Rankings are a bit buggy too (keep winning and getting achivements but my total point score doesnt go up as it should). Nevertheless, its fun, worth a try. I think they should focus on fixing bugs before adding even more buggy features.

This is so stupid. When you checkmate someone you have to wait for them to quit or time out...why couldnt you just get the win as soon as you checkmate. For that reason I give this game a 1 star. I wish I had two hands, so I can Give this app a four thumbs down

The live game system is awesome, just what I was looking for. However the board set up is wrong. First rule of learning chess is board set up. White square on your right and queen goes on its own color. The queen is not on its own color and the board needs to be rotated 90 degrees. I dont think the creator of this app knows how to play chess. This is a fundamental flaw that completely throws of the game. Please fix an ill give this app five stars

Player match is great! Response time is excellent! Fantastic free online game. But... The rulebook is incomplete. Not only is it legal to castle out of check, but it will allow you to move your king two spaces. Plus you can castle after having previously been in check, and dont even get me started with the en passant rule.... As I typed this, even my autocorrect was like: "En Passant yeah, thats a real English term." because THE EN PASSANT RULE IS ESSENTIAL! If you like chess, dont torture yourself with this app. If this is the "Digital Future" then I might just drink myself into an early grave. Why doesnt this review show up??

I won my first 12 games without seeing what the game looks like... I dont even know what are the boards colors.... I think its so bad..

This game could be great, but the bugs got on my nerves for the last time. I have had kings move 2 squares to get out of trouble as if they were castling out of check, but the rook stays put. I promote a pawn to a queen to nullify a checkmate and it is still game over as if the queen was not in a position to stop it. Once promoted a pawn to a queen and when the other player took it with a rook, they just shared the space and the queen was not removes from the board. It doesnt seem to improve despite the numerous complaints. On to the next one.

Slow connecting sometimes... But excellent...

One you find a player it says negotiating but the game never starts. So bad!

Played 3 games. One of the games the board was set up wrong (board was sideways). During a check, player can move over two spots towards the far rook, which shouldnt be possible. No crossover with the rook during a check is the rule. Things like that made me delete the game shortly after

Could not play a game do to a bug that keeps disconnecting my opponents for some odd reason ten times in a row.

Its fine once you get into a game but it takes a while to connect with a player. I waited 5 minutes and it still said waiting for player. So I quit and it got recorded as a loss. Very frustrating

I gave this game a low rating because it only works via gamecentre 20% of the time. The only reason I chose this chess game is so I could play against my friends, but after the first game, we usually have to completely shut down our devices, restart them, restart the chess game, and then it works. Is it too much to ask for a game to work like it should?

This app is SOOO buggy and you have to close it at the end of every game(Home button doesnt work) and various other UI bugs. As well, the rules are off. 1/10 games are playable. Dont waste your time. Bad app. U P D A T E
